The Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Association of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (CAPPD) will be held on Tuesday March 27th between 12 to 6:00PM at Centre Block 112-N.

In keeping with the Constitution, members of the Executive Committee are elected for a period of 1 year. The Executive Committee consists of 9 elected members: 1 chair, 4 Vice-Chairs and 4 Directors. Every effort will be made to ensure that there is a balance between political parties and geographical representation on the Executive Committee. If you are interested in one of the Executive Committee positions, please complete the nomination form and return it to: firstname.lastname@example.org. There is no deadline for the nominations. You may bring your completed nomination form to the meeting and can nominate yourself from the floor.
The AGM will begin with a special presentation from the Hon. Marie Claude Bibeau, Minister of International Development and la Francophonie on Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy as it relates to sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality and parliamentary engagement.
