In April 2015, two CAPPD members participated in the G7/G20 parliamentarians’ conference in Berlin, Germany in the lead up to the G7 Summit. The theme of the conference was women’s economic empowerment. The resolution on is an annual resolution led by Canada at the UN Human Rights Council. This year, for the first time, it focused on eliminating domestic violence.
